PHYSIOTHERAPY

​Physiotherapy is the treatment of injury, disease or deformity by using physical methods such as stretches, massage, heat/ cold therapy, controlled exercises. This can include; a full assessment, massage, tailored exercise plan, specific stretches, use of physio equipment, fitness and strength training.

Initial appointment (includes full assessment and tailored plan):
1 hour 30 minutes £80.00
Follow up appointments:
1 hour £60.00
(Laser therapy included in all physiotherapy appointments at no extra cost).
LASER THERAPY
​Laser therapy has many benefits including:

Pain relief

Wound healing

Aids recovery from injury, surgery and muscular pain

Reduces inflammation

Increases joint mobility and function
By easing pain and reducing inflammation, laser therapy along with physiotherapy exercises can help improve range of movement
and overall joint function. Most small animals (including dogs, cats and rabbits) find it relaxing and will often fall asleep during treatment.

1-2-1 Fitness Sessions
​Fitness sessions can have huge benefits long term for your pet. These sessions cans be in your home or in clinic.
These sessions can help with:

mental stimulation

strength training
-
cardiovascular fitness

weight loss
These sessions are for pets that have no underlying conditions and are not being treated for a specific disease or injury. The sessions include: full assessment in the first appointment, use of equipment such as peanut ball, wobble cushion, cavaletti poles (jumps), fitness exercises.

All patients must be referred by a veterinary surgeon, either via the website or by downloading the referral from.
